*I received these products from this company (for free), for the purpose of sharing my opinion.*

“Virginia Soaps and Scents” is owned by the Spargurs, a homeschooling family of 11. The entire family works together making a variety of soaps. They are mainly marketing to the homeschool community. Next year they will begin speaking at homeschool conferences on the subject of family owned businesses.

I received:
1. “Fresh Orange” soap.
2. “Shampoo bar” (This can be also be used for shaving. It is hard to get it to lather, but works well.)
3. “Coconut Lemongrass” soap.
4. “Oatmeal, Milk and Honey” soap.
5. “Laundry Soap Kit” (“Contains: Lard Cleaning Soap, Borax and Washing Soda” – Makes ½ Gallon)
6. An informative brochure with a picture of their lovely family. I appreciate all the information this contained.
They gave a little history of soap in general, the work they are doing and information about their products.
In addition to soap, they also sell perfumed body powder, body lotion, and lip balm.

I found the soap to be very long lasting. We use it as hand soap. It barely melts at all, even when sitting in water for hours! The original fresh scent (from the essential oils) faded after a few days. But the soap is still working and I appreciate having soap that lasts so long. It is a good value considering how often I normally have to buy regular soap from the supermarket.

We received what they called “Bed and Breakfast sized bars,” which are cute little samples of their full size bars. I love the country design on their packaging.
