Guess which book is being released tomorrow, on March 16, 2010? It's the sequel to "Do Hard Things - A Teenage Rebellion against low Expectations." Yes, that's right, Alex and Brett Harris have written a new book called "Start Here-Doing hard things right where you are."
You'll find inspiration, ideas and real-life stories of teenagers who are making a difference throughout the world.
The Harris brothers are the founders of TheRebelution.com and are well known (and much loved) among the Christian Community. They are tremendous leaders who do their job brilliantly, because they are willing and grateful to work right alongside everyone else. They are just like public servants and I am so proud of them!
Start Here, gives you practical ideas and information on how to begin a project. Whether it is a small endeavor or large scale, you will find the motivation and encouragement to put your time to good use. Here's more of what you'll find inside:
1. Gathering support for your cause.
2. Taking those small steps of networking with others through the phone or in person.
3. How to handle the attention you'll receive, giving praise to God and remaining humble.
4. Getting the rest you need.
5. "How Rebelutionaries should relate to pop-culture." (What kinds of things you should avoid.)
6. How to handle criticism.
7. What happens when things don't go as planned.
8. How to get your parents permission to work on a project. (First prove yourself responsible by what you do at home.)
There is even and appendix with discussion questions and 100 hard things young people have done, which will give you some great ideas!
To sum it up: This book provides Godly inspiration to help transform your teenagers to live a life for God.

I would love to have this. I have two teens. We so enjoyed, maybe I should say we were so inspired, by Do Hard Things. I think it was a must for all teens - probably some parents as well. :) skrkdale@yahoo.com
Hmmm...I have so many favorites that I don't know if I can choose one favorite author! We all love Hugh Lofting's books, so I suppose he might be my current favorite.
Thanks for the chance to win this book. :)

Favorite author? Ummm, besides Tim's answer, I guess my favorite is whoever I'm reading at the moment. I just finished a Jane Austen book, so I guess I'd go with her this week.
