Great set of Books- Giveaway for Moms

Sally Clarkson's latest book, Dancing with my Father is designed to lead readers into a life of Grace and joy. This is a sweet book where she talks about how stress was taking away her happiness. She compares memories of her father with the joy and peace we can have with our Heavenly Father. If you are struggling to get through hard times, this is just the book to cheer you up and get you back on the right path.

Are you having trouble getting along with your adult daughter? You're not alone! Many mothers find it baffling when their precious girl suddenly pulls away in an attempt to live a life of her own. Often there is hostility, resentment and a lack of communication. If you are trying to understand where your daughter is coming from and what you can do to repair the relationship, you'll enjoy reading Mother - Daughter Duet written by Cheri Fuller and Ali Plum.

Great news!! Would you like to win a set of these books? I have one set available for a giveaway. Here's how to enter:

One of our favorite family activities is "game night." We like to play board games together, and it's lots of fun! We also enjoy going for walks in the woods and just talking.

We also have family game night. Our kids love it! From age 3-21! Of course we have a seperate game time with the little ones. I try to have some type of fun meal or snack during this time also. We also enjoy going to the zoo together when weather permits.

A favorite family activity is board games when it's cold or to go to the beach when it's warm. :)

I'd love a chance to win. I'm a publuic follower, too! :)

Please enter my name for a chance to win the books.

I don't have a family at home anymore. Now, I enjoy getting together with my daugher and her hubby and the grands for a family dinner. My son-in-law is a gourmet cook. He loves to barbeque and also has a big smoker. He has a few signature dishes that go well with hamburgers and hot dogs - his baked beans and his home made potato salad. These get-togethers are always enjoyable.

It doesn't matter so much *what* we do together as just being together. My hubby is a long-haul trucker who's only home for 1-3 days per month, and gone again for another 3-7 wks at a time before we see him. We homeschool our children so he can occasionally take a child with him when he knows it'll be a shorter run, but when he's home, it is FAMILY time. No one's friends come over to spend the night, and we plan no outside activities unless DAD wants to. So it doesn't matter so much to us if we spend our time as a family sitting around eating a meal, or watching a movie, or playing a game, or anything else. The important thing is just being together.

My favorite family activity is singing together and laughing and listening to my husband read to all of us.

I've posted a link on my Facebook, since I don't have a blog. Hope that counts as an extra entry.

Once a month, we have family night: dinner, conversation and games or quality movie. When we have birthdays, after food, gifts & cake/singing, we surround the birthday person and pray for them.

My favorite family activity would be going to car shows. We build hot rods as a family and travel during the summer to different shows! I love it!
