What Am I - All About Reading Book Review

TOS Crew Review

Product:  All About Reading Level 2- Volume 1 Reader - What Am I?

Price: $19.95

Publisher: All About Spelling

Marie Rippel is the creator of All About Spelling. I reviewed Levels 1 and 2 of All About Spelling and loved them. I also reviewed her first reader - book one, called Beehive Reader.

Her latest book is Level 2 (in the reading series) and is called, "What Am I?" It is a collection of 9 short stories and also includes some poems and riddles. It has the same high quality as book one. The pencil illustrations are extremely well-done and charming.   This is mostly about things you'll find in nature - animals and such, as well as some silly stories about a robot, or animals waiting on a park bench to ride the bus. My personal opinion - The text itself does not interest me, and is a secular book. However, I did like one of the stories and thought it contained a wonderful lesson. It is called, "The Bake Sale."  Overall, the book  is very well done and a great complement to the All About Spelling Program.

Note: This book was newly released and should be available for sale on their website soon.
