Get Energy with Denise Austin - Giveaway

Book - Get Energy! by Denise Austin

Publisher - Center Street

Pages - 240, softcover

Many of us struggle with poor health and lack of energy. I am so happy that Denise has written this book! In her friendly, encouraging way, she leads us through easy steps to get the energy we need. Here is some of what you'll find inside this book:

1. A quiz to find out what is zapping your energy.

2. Quick tips throughout.

3. Pictures of the various exercises Denise suggests for us. (She breaks it all down and shows us how simple these are.) Many of the photos are of Denise in everyday clothes in her home. It is like visiting her for the day and learning from her in a relaxed setting.

4. Denise shares that she is 53 years old! She has been a health and fitness advocate for over 25 years!

5. Here are the chapter titles:

Get Ready to Get Energy!
What's Zapping your Energy?
Stretch 15 Minutes into 12 Hours of Energy.
The Building Blocks of All-Day Energy.
Change Your Outlook, Recharge your Life.
Recharge with People Power.

The Energizing Power of Pleasure.
Power Up at Midlife!
Your Personal Energy Plan Worksheet.
Get Energy Today! Your 14-Day PEP Plan.

I would have more energy if I moved around more - sitting makes me have less energy.

I don't exercise, and I don't eat right. I need to drink more water.
I should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. I eat too many sweets and drink too much soda. No wonder I'm draggin' all the time! If anyone ever needed good advice on how to have more energy...here I am!

My best tip is to get to bed at a reasonable hour and rise early. I need my rest to feel rested. This works for me.
