The Godly Home, Marriage and Family

Library of Congress: Dr. Mordica Johnson, president of Howard University, saying grace before Thanksgiving dinner, 1942.

This morning I listened to a sermon by the late L. R. Shelton, Sr. It is about the sacredness of an old fashioned, life-long marriage. It is encouraging, convicting and sobering. The sermon was preached in the 1960's and the message is valid for all time, because it is based on sound Biblical teaching.

Precious Mrs. White. I have listened to this sermon before and embraced what the Pastor says. Listened to this sermon again. I think I may have to do a post about this. He blesses us with the truth. There is hope in Jesus and marriages can be saved and enriched when Christ centered.
Sweet Blessings to you,
d

I listened while I did my dishes this morning . It is very confirming and inspiring about courtship and marriage. Thank you.
