Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus in a Difficult Marriage

In every marriage, there are difficult moments. You have two people who often make mistakes and have to face the consequences together.

They have to constantly forgive each other and continue to move on.

In every single marriage, there are little problems. But over time, as you get through one trial after another, a serious, lifelong closeness develops.

This comes with age and through much suffering.

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus (Helen H. Lemmel, 1922)

O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!

* Refrain:
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
