Chapters 5 through 12 include lists of Authors and their books. This also include a brief background on each author's work.  These chapters cover "Picture Books;" "The Golden Age Classics:" "Children's Fiction:" "Fairy Tales and Fantasy;" "History and Biography;" "Spiritual Reading for Children;" "Poetry;" "Music, Art and Nature."

There are several more sections in the book, including Caldecott medalists, Landmark History books, complete indexes and more.

This book would make a marvelous resource in every homeschool. I absolutely love it!
