Trouble on the Home Front

Victorian Seaside

You may have noticed my sporadic posts lately. You may have wondered if something was going on. Well, as of last night, I no longer have a working computer. Mine died.

However, I have been having a lovely time working at home. I have cleaned and scrubbed and started new projects. I didn't realize how much more free time I had available. I didn't even think I had been spending much time on the computer, but everything seems so much more relaxed for me at home.

Do you remember a year or two ago, when I mentioned that I didn't have a computer for 2 years? I stopped writing completely. When Mr. White bought me a new one, in early 2009 (?), I had to re-learn everything. It took me some time to remember how to write on a daily basis. But then I started to love it again. I have greatly enjoyed my visits here. But I don't know what will happen next.

I will try to check -in when I can. Perhaps I will hand-write my visits at the kitchen table. And then type them up on borrowed computers. It will be much harder than writing late at night, or early in the morning. This is so strange... So sad.....

Please bear with me. . .

May your days be filled with happiness. And may home-life be a peaceful refuge for your families.

Mrs. White

- If you miss me, please feel welcome to visit often and read the archives.. . (gentle smiles)

Oh my!!! This is not good.... Sometimes you can just load more memory in and there are a lot of high school kids that know a bunch about computers and can practically build one out of legos (just kidding). Anyway, don't give up, you can't go without one, being able to talk to each other this way is a huge blessing! I don't think it is wrong to pray for this to be fixed..I will be praying for an answer. xxoo

P.S. I am so blessed by your words and I know many others are are an inspiration!

I am so sorry to hear that! I am a fairly new reader and will miss your wonderful posts until (and if) you are back up and running. I know for myself though, I don't try to make my Diary (blog) an everyday thing. I write when I have something of value to share and then send my contact list an announcement so they can check it out if they want.

With that said, I do think it is good to take a break at times and remember other giftings.

Oh, what sad news! I just found your blog a few months ago and look forward to reading each new post. You are such an inspiration to me in so many ways and I appreciate all the time and effort you make to communicate with us. You have been a huge blessing to me and I do hope we hear from you from time to time. God bless you and your family, Mrs. White.

I am so sad! I look forward to your post each day. I grew up thinking that staying at home wasn't even an option. After three children I started staying at home and greatly enjoy it. However, I find I need inspiration and validation in what I am doing, and you do a GREAT job of providing that.

I hope your rest from the computer brings you many blessings and less stress. God Bless!

I am glad it's just the computer and nothing more serious!

Have a blessed week enjoying your off-line time!

I hope you still find the ability to post. I find your blog a calming and rational island in today's world of insanity. You inspire me to be more than I often feel I can be.
Thank You.

I am sorry to hear about your posting problems. I pray that you will get them settled soon. I understand your dilemma, how ever, since I have to wait untill I get to town to post for my own blog. I just write or type everything out, then when I get to town I go to a wi-fi spot and put the text, photos and everything else online then. It takes work, but it's worth it.

I would far rather learn that I may have to wait for a post from you than to hear that you, dear lady, are ill.

Much love,
