The Christmas Apron Movie Review and Giveaway

I was offered the opportunity to review a very sweet DVD.  It is called "The Christmas Apron." The setting is in the early 1940's.  It is about a family at Christmas time.  The house they live in is lovely and the family is entirely dedicated to their home life.

The story is about three children anticipating their Grandmother's visit.  She brings with her an apron that belonged to her own mother.  Grandmother shares a precious story about faith and the meaning behind all aprons.  It is a blessing!

What I loved about the movie was the gentleness of the story. I loved the prayers.  The background music was calming.  The cast did a beautiful job portraying this sweet family.  The story itself was inspiring, especially as we see that each child only asked for one item for Christmas.  They knew there was not much money available and they were so caring about it all.  There is no sense of materialism here!

The running time on this movie is about 26 minutes. Even though it is shorter than most movies, it was like watching a lovely, old time, short story on film.  The message came through in an inspiring and entertaining way. I loved it!

The Giveaway

The sponsor of this promotion is offering a giveaway of this DVD.  They are also giving away another movie (which I did not choose to review), called, "The Christmas Break-in."  Both movies will be given to one winner.  The winner will also receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card.

The contest is now closed.
