Ideas for Doing School at Home During the Crisis

School Supplies on Mrs. White's Parlour Table.

During this difficult time, with the virus pandemic, many children are doing their school work at home.  We all need some encouragement to get through this.

To help, in some way, I did a video on this topic.   I share some ideas of fun, educational activities to keep children busy and happy.  These are things I have done with my own five children during our 26 years of homeschooling.

 I posted the video on my YouTube channel. You can find the link below:

Video - "Homemaking and School at Home Ideas (Simple and Easy) - (Homeschooling)"

{*Edited to update:  The videos I do are homemade. They are not professional quality. Thank you for understanding my limitations.}

I hope everyone is okay and staying well!

I think it is such a good idea to encourage children with informative and fun ideas for working at home. I wonder if your schools send text books home as we do in Uk?

Thank you for the video.
You are such a help to so many.
I pray these uncertain days find you and your family safe, healthy, and cozy.

Alas, my girls ate doing their college studies at home. I miss homeschooling, but it's nice to have them around more.

Hi Mrs. White!

We took the week off so we could pursue some creative things... It's almost the weekend which means I've got to be planning for our schooling week ahead. I'm wondering if it would be terribly inappropriate to take ANOTHER week off?? Hahahaha! Stay tuned...

What a sweet video, and I'm sure very helpful too. I guess for me, homeschooling all four of our girls I would be doing the same-o every day, even during a time like this if they were little again and even highschool, now they are adults but really we are all still learning. : )

Your blog is a blessing to many I'm sure. Peaceful, sweet and informative.
