A Video - Winter Scenery and a Brief Christmas Message

Photograph by Mrs. White:  A Winter view of our property.

As the Christmas season is here, I wanted to make a peaceful video to bring joy and encouragement. The video has photographs from here at our Vermont property, with snow, at winter time.

There is also a beautiful instrumental hymn playing in the background, "Oh Holy Night."

This has been posted on our new channel, "Old Fashioned Homemaking."  It is below.  I hope you enjoy it!

Dear Mrs. White, thank you for sharing the peaceful winter views, and lovely music. Wishing you and your loved ones a happy and blessed Christmas season. I have been following your blog for years now, and have enjoyed each book I have ordered from you. Mrs. Z from Finger Lakes, Upstate New York

That was a lovely video. Of course, a visit here always means hopping and skipping about to read the many wonderful posts you have written. This time I have read about keeping the kitchen at the ready and ways to be comfortable in winter with rising costs of heating. I am trying to get used to 65° thoughI feel miserable much if the time. I can't imagine 63° or lower.

What beautiful scenery, thank you for sharing. Here in southern Colorado we have gotten a dusting, but hopeful for more soon. What a lovely idea to decorate a tree outside. Very pretty.

Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas.

So charming, Mrs. White. Thank you for bringing back the beauty of this most blessed time of year. It is a welcome break from the hustle and bustle and commercialism we are surrounded by.
