I made her some child sized dish towels to dry the dishes with.

The tea napkins would be wonderful to make and give when gifting a toy tea set to a child! Maybe even package them in a tin as you did with the set your granddaughter keeps at your house! I like cloth napkins too but sometimes the pretty paper ones are necessary, aren't they? My mother used to hand sew everything. She was quite a seamstress and although she always wanted a sewing machine, she never did get one. She had her mother's but it didn't work. It was kept instead as a sentimental piece. Thank you for sharing and joining me today. I have a 3 year old granddaughter that LOVES tea parties. Will have to find some pretty little material remnants and see what we can come up with. Hope you are all surviving the cold winter months and enjoying many tea parties. Blessing to you, Karla in IL. I may also try to do a few of those as it is too cold to be in my sewing room! But you better get that apron made for yourself as Christmas will be here again in a blink! Sometimes I can find a really pretty tablecloth, might have a stain or two, for 99cents. I can work around the stains. They make pretty napkins and aprons. :)

Thank you for your inspirational blog on homemaking. I tried searching for the photo, but didn't find anything similar. I thought it might bring up the fabric online. Is there a brand or a pattern name on the selvage? You might be able to find more online.
Blessings to you my friend.
