For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ" (2 Cor. 1:4,5).

I want to let you know what a blessing your posts, and this one especially, have been to me the past couple of weeks. I am dealing with a trial that is causing days of anxiety. I know you've dealt with that, and with cancer, which is what I am in a "waiting period" for while I feel lumps and bumps but need to wait for my dr appointment to be here.
Some days I am fine, other days my mind can wander into dark and anxious places. I do not love housekeeping work as you do, but you are 100% right...it is the best thing to dive into when anxious thoughts assail! My natural tendency is to crawl under a blanket and hide, but then my mind is free to Satan's attacks of fear.

I do not have a rocking chair, but I have a nice easy chair and ottoman by the fireplace, and it is cold, rainy/snowy, grey, and foggy here in Illinois today, so I will put on some uplifting music, continue with my spring cleaning and my food storage plans, and take rests in my chair by the fire with my Bible on my lap. And I will continue to thank God for you, and to remember your needs before His throne, dear lady!
Thank you again for sharing your life here, you are a blessing.
"For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints." (Hebrews 6:10)

Many blessings,
IllinoisLoriIllinois Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04823043316393624821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4718905863879655459.post-79774333704169331382011-03-22T16:50:20.700-04:002011-03-22T16:50:20.700-04:00What a special heirloom!!
