I, too, believe the Spirit helps in this area when we seek Him.

We often, though, think we have to speak - to fill the silence - because people tend to either feel uncomfortable or think you're a weirdo for keeping silent. Oh well, guess I'd rather be a weirdo than live with regret from careless words. :)

Thank you for sharing!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4718905863879655459.post-46090975880796770262012-02-03T10:35:09.749-05:002012-02-03T10:35:09.749-05:00As I really try to consciously be that silent, mee...As I really try to consciously be that silent, meek, praying instead of talking person, I find that God, more and more, quiets my tongue (or, more often, my typing fingers). WHEN I obey and be still/silent, I'm SO glad that I did! :) This post reminds me of your one on Mother's Rose-Colored Glasses. I think of that often... :)

My homemaking link-up weekend is going on now and I'd love to have you participate!

Have a great weekend!
Mrs. Sarah CollerAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10004203870466008754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4718905863879655459.post-78133716610993482142012-02-03T09:04:54.137-05:002012-02-03T09:04:54.137-05:00I LOVE today's post. It's better to remain silent than to later regret having said anything.Jessica Dimashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08756582014183596338noreply@blogger.com
