As a homeschooling mother of 5, it does start the day off better to have a calm family meal.

My mother-in-law always sets a full breakfast table, even with a housefull on Sunday mornings...with ONE bathroom. Somehow, breakfast is eaten together, the dishes are washed, people are presentable and we are mostly on time for church. Just returned from a lovely week-end there. Between her and your teachings, I have learned to not whine about difficult circumstances. She is a wonderful example of a godly wife and mother.Miss Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08801431863687524648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4718905863879655459.post-37580905396733447872011-12-01T11:39:59.517-05:002011-12-01T11:39:59.517-05:00Oh, I love those old Andy Hardy movies! I am in the mood to watch one now!!! :)

I know what you mean about breakfast! We only have a big breakfast on the weekends, but still not formal like what you are talking about! I did surprise my family yesterday by making pumpkin pancakes! It was a treat to have a special breakfast during the week! :)busymomof10https://www.blogger.com/profile/16801397516931688515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4718905863879655459.post-42364702232353259862011-12-01T11:15:14.862-05:002011-12-01T11:15:14.862-05:00I love the Andy Hardy movies and watched that one ...I love the Andy Hardy movies and watched that one not too long ago (my aunt has cable and she recorded it for me...YEAH!). I am going to change this! Thanks for the encouragement!

By the way, I simply love your recommendations for movies and books. I watched "Cheaper by the Dozen" for the first time and I am reading "Mama's Bank Account". I'm putting the Andy Rooney movies on my Netflix account now. :)Alinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4718905863879655459.post-84361820155881628552011-12-01T10:15:12.798-05:002011-12-01T10:15:12.798-05:00Sounds like a wonderful start to the day!!
