A Quiet Rest and A Blogging Break

Painting by Jan Frans van Dael, 1817.

I need to take a break. I have gotten a little run down over the last few months. I need to step away for a short rest and just focus on quiet and gentle living.  I want to come back here to the blogging world with a plan that will not wear me out.

I hope to return sometime in the new year.  I am grateful for you all!  I will miss your sweet encouragement and kindness.

Please feel welcome to visit here and to read the archives. I will check comments and emails each week. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  (I added the name of the giveaway winner on my post for "An Old Fashioned Budget" book.)

May your Christmas be blessed and joyful!

Blessings
Mrs. White

  4. DEAR SHARON: SEGUIRE LEYENDO TUS PUBLICACIONES ANTIGUAS, ME DAN ANIMO Y ALIENTO PARA ESTA VIDA DIFICIL Y DURA EN LA QUE VIVIMOS, A VECES ME SIENTO CANSADA, SIENTO QUE NO PUEDO SEGUIR, PERO TENGO QUE SER FUERTE Y VALIENTE COMO DICE DIOS, PARA ENFRENTAR EL DIA A DIA. NO HAY DINERO QUE SOBRE, TODO ESTA MUY CARO, AQUI DONDE VIVO ES MUY DIFICIL PODER ALIMENTARSE CORRECTAMENTE, NO PODEMOS GASTAR UN CENTAVO DE MAS, ME ACUERDO DE TUS PUBLICACIONES DONDE DICES QUE HAY QUE ARREGLARSE CON LO QUE UNO TIENE, CONFORMARSE CON POCO Y SI QUE LO HACEMOS, POR LA GRACIA DE DIOS, EL PAN NUNCA FALTO A LA MESA, PORQUE DIOS ES FIEL, ARREGLO LA ROPA PARA QUE LA PUEDAN SEGUIR USANDOLA, TENEMOS MUCHOS NIÑOS Y SOLO MI ESPOSO TRABAJA, EL ESTA DISCAPACITADO DE SU COLUMNA, IGUALMENTE ES UN HOMBRE MUY FUERTE QUE TRABAJA TODO LO QUE PUEDE. DESEO QUE DIOS SANE TUS DOLENCIAS Y QUE EL PROXIMO AÑO SEAN MUY BENDECIDOS EN TODOS LOS ASPECTOS TU Y TU HOGAR. EXTRAÑARE TUS PUBLICACIONES. ¿PUEDES PASAR POR MI BLOG? ENCONTRARAS PUBLICACIONES SOBRE NOSOTROS Y LOS ADORNOS QUE HAGO PARA EMBELLECER MI HOGAR. BENDICIONES A LA DISTANCIA.

  7. I so understand your feelings, our heads are in a whirlwind these days aren't they? The Holy days are upon us and it is nice to sit with a cup of coffee or tea and read and pray and just think pondering the season.

Just want to let you know that your latest book is part of my quiet afternoon and evening time with my cup of tea. I'm thoroughly enjoying the book, it makes me feel like I have a sweet friend who is on the same page as I. It's very encouraging to read and touches my heart deeply.

So in the afternoons and evening times let us all pray for one another and remember that the same sun and moon shines upon us all as we serve God and think upon His glorious Gift this Christmas season.

    Love, Amelia

  8. I am certain to miss your posts. I plan on purchasing one of your books to read after the holidays. I have made changes in my life the last few years and some is due to you. It's as if women need permission to slow down and nurture. I know that God put me here for that reason.
    Enjoy your break!

  13. I understand how you are feeling Mrs White, I feel like that myself, and haven't been blogging for a while. Every year I purpose that life will be calmer but I am yet to achieve that. I pray you are able to rest and recuperate. Many blessings to you and Merry Christmas ~ Linda

  14. Hello, Mrs. White. This is my first time writing you. I have read most of your books and absolutely LOVE them. Today, my husband told me about an article in the Wall Street Journal that said only 21% of families consist of a husband who works and a wife who stays home. In 1960, it was 65%. Single mothers outdid the traditional family at 22%. The traditional family is now considered rare. The biggest growth is among homosexuals calling themselves married. On the one hand, I consider myself most blessed to be home with my family. On the other, I’m so deeply saddened by the destruction of the home and family. Your posts encourage me!!! Thank you for all you do!!! You are more needed than you know! Enjoy your rest, but please come back. I pray you find an easier way to blog.
