Two Hours a Day

Victorian Lady, Lilac Dress

When I was growing up, my Mother had us cleaning the house all the time. Later, as a teen, I worked summers with my best friend and her mother - cleaning houses. It took around 2 hours to deep clean a house. I also worked for a small cleaning company for a short time. We cleaned houses, condos and apartment buildings.

Just 2 hours a day.

This is what I started doing today. I just put on my apron, put my hair up, put on my ankle weights, and just spent 2 hours cleaning everything.

Laundry

Dusting shelves

Sweeping the hallway

Scrubbing the stove and fridge

Washing sinks

Polishing Canisters

Anything and everything that needs to be done, I work for 2 hours.

It makes it easy.

Blessings
Mrs. White

You are an inspiration!
Enjoy visiting your blog.

I like the idea of wearing ankle weights while cleaning.
I've never done this, but I think I just might in the near future.
Also wearing an apron while cleaning is something I might try as well. Kind of like getting geared up in a uniform to do the job!
These days I need all the help I can get.
God bless,
d

This is so inspirational. I can handle 2 hours a day, and I am sure a lot can be accomplished in that time. I waste at least that amount of time online anyway, so I will put it to getting my home in order. Thank you for posting this!!!. I will set my cell phone alarm to go off so I know when 2 hours are up. Can't wait :)
