Book Review: Voices of the Faithful book 2

Voices of the Faithful (book 2) is full of inspiring stories written by missionaries all over the world. Each one is a short devotion. It includes: A Bible Verse, meditation (true story or memory), and a prayer.

These are beautifully written. The book is just lovely. The concept was created by Beth Moore. But the book itself was compiled by Kim P. Davis. Kim also writes an introduction before each month’s reading. Kim and her husband are currently mission mentors to students at a Christian university.

Jerry Rankin, president of International Mission Board, SBC wrote a compelling Foreword to the book. He really helped me to understand what life is like for missionaries and how much they need our prayers and support.

At the end of the book, you will find an index, ideas on how to pray for missionaries, and helpful information about your church’s role in missions.

The book is designed to encourage readers to live a godly life and to have a heart for missionaries and the people they serve.
