This page is for those who are following our medical trips.
This post was last updated on December 30, 2024.
We have been so blessed by your prayers, support, kindness, and help with the medical condition of our patient this year. This is for one of our grown sons who has a long-term chronic illness. (He was diagnosed during the pandemic in 2020.)
For those who have asked for a way to help with our ongoing expenses, we have set up this page.
Medical Trips:
The need is for the cost of lodging (in another state, where he receives specialized care) and travel expenses. The patient is not able to endure these long trips without stopping to rest at a hotel. These medical trips are to see specialists, have tests, and procedures. They have become frequent this year. In addition to this, he receives weekly treatment at a local facility.

Latest Update -
The patient has recovered from the procedure. There were also many difficult tests he had to endure. (He had 2 medical trips in November, and 2 trips in December.)
It has been found that the treatment plan he had been on, for the last few months, has stopped working. (This explains why he has not been doing well.)
There is another medical trip scheduled for early January. They will be setting up a different treatment plan that we hope will work.
Thank you for your prayers and encouragement!

It is such a blessing to know you are praying for us and want to help! For those who have asked for a way to help, a donation button has been added below. We are so grateful for your kindness and help!
If you would like to read a little about what these medical trips are like for the patient, please read the post I shared in October, "Taking Care of our Medical Patient."
God bless you!
