This page is for those who are interested in helping with our medical trips. Here you will find a brief background, the need, and how to help.

Background
At the end of 2020, during the pandemic, one of my grown sons was diagnosed with a life-long illness. His condition requires ongoing medical care.
The Need
The treatments tend to occur every 6 to 8 weeks, along with additional tests and doctor visits when necessary. (This will be updated with any changes as they happen.)
In order to get this medical care, we need to travel some distance into the next state. It is a tiring journey for the patient and we have found it necessary to stay overnight at a nearby hotel for these appointments.
The medical bills are fully covered by insurance. This leaves us with a financial need for travel.
The traveling cost for each medical trip includes transportation as well as lodging at a hotel.
How to Help
I have set up a donation page for those who feel led to help us meet these expenses.
In order for donors to see how much has already been given, I will set up a "campaign" for each appointment, just before they happen. Once a new appointment is scheduled, a new donation campaign will be posted here.

Update: April 4, 2024: The 3rd campaign has not yet been posted. It will appear here as soon as a new appointment has been scheduled.
(Note: The 1st campaign was such a blessing. The patient had been feeling discouraged, but hearing that so many of you are praying for him and providing support for his medical trips has cheered him up so much! Thank you!)

When reading about your extensive medical trips I have often wished that I could help in some way. So happy that you have set this up.

Dear Anonymous, Yes there is a PO Box for those who would rather share in that way. It is on the about page. It is listed under "contact me by regular mail."
