Godly Homemaking wisdom for a peaceful and joyous home life. . .. "Faint not; the miles to heaven are but few and short." -Samuel Rutherford
"Our fair morning is at hand;
the day star is near the rising,
and we are not many miles from home.
What matter, then, of ill-entertainment
in the smoky inns of this worthless world?
We are not to stay here,
and we shall be dearly welcome
to Him to whom we are going."
- Samuel Rutherford, 1600's -

A very timely reminder, Mrs. White!
All good reminders. :)
Wonderful list, Mrs. White! I love it! While you made your list specifically for housewives, I personally feel it could - and should - apply to anyone, including husbands and children!
Number 1 and Number 2 on your list could be prefaced with "Help with..."
I also think that, more than anything else, every Christian - man, woman, child - should be grateful for all that we have. We have so many blessings, even when we are in need at times. There is so much to be thankful for in life.
Thanks so much for this list! I am going to print it and place it where the whole family can see it every day as a reminder to all of us. :)
This is challenging me. Thanks, I needed that.
Thank-you, Mrs.White for reminding us to be greatful for all we have.God has richly blessed us all.Sometimes we forget to be thankful for even small things.I feel so blessed to be home with my family.Sometimes people don`t think it`s important but my family does.Thank-you for your encouraging blog.
Very challenging list Mrs. White, but so very true.
My saintly patience is severely lacking right now. Thanks for the reminders of my job, and Who can enable me to accomplish it.
These are great tips to commit to heart. Thank You. Love, Rosemi
