Working for Old Fashioned Peace at Home

Willow Creek Mill

I have 2 hours to clean, put away groceries and get my house in order. Then I have an errand to do. After that, I want to get ready for a peaceful night and a happy weekend.

I must stay focused.

Later this afternoon, I want to sit in my favorite chair near the window, while looking up at a clean house, enjoying the scent of brownies baking in the oven, and sipping on ginger ale. I want to read a little Jane Austen and take a leisurely walk on the property.

The only way to enjoy that special peaceful time, is if I work fast, hard and efficiently for the next two hours.

I better go. . . The timer is set....

Enjoy your weekend in a clean, happy house!

Blessings

I want to do that! It all sounds so peaceful. I suppose the work before makes it all the more delicious in the moment of quiet. This was a good reminder.
Just dropped by and I will return.
