Old Fashioned Housework

Woman Hanging Up the Laundry on the Line

It is a beautiful day outside. I will open the windows and let in the fresh, clean air. My plan for today is to spend 2 hours doing some old fashioned housework.

I will start in about 10 minutes.

This is what I will do:

1. Sweep the front porch. Then set up a chair so I can sit out there this afternoon, with a good book.

2. Clean the front entryway and wash the glass doors.

3. Vacuum the living room.

4. Do a load of laundry. Then hang clothes on the line.

5. Deep clean one of the children's rooms.

6. Make a delicious lunch. Freeze the leftovers for quick and easy suppers for my teens.

7. Clean the kitchen.

Before I start my work, I will put on some Old, Southern Gospel Music . Then I will put up my hair and wear a pretty apron.

It is going to be a lovely day at home!

Blessings

Dear Mrs. White,
Sweet Summer Blessings to you!
Wish I had your energy!!!
Today I am off to have dental work done. Chipped a tooth and now a crown must be put on it.

The pic you have up for post makes me smile. Would be nice to have this much ground around for yard.
God bless,
d

Mrs White,

I love it! I've spent the morning doing old fashioned housework too. I've had so much fun blessing my husband and family by:

Cleaning the kitchen
Washing up all of the dishes
Cleaning our main bathroom
Folding clothes after my husband surprised me by starting the laundry
training our son to clean the table and sweep the floors after meals
Cleaning our master bedroom
training our son as he cleaned his room

Taking a short break and then I am off to vacuum the living room and make lunch!

Have a great time blessing your home and family!

I got up extra early to begin an exercise routine that hopefully will become a habit!! I feel like I have accomplished much today as well. I love how well you pace yourself, doing just enough then spending time to read or whatever you want to do. I run full steam then get so tired I'm not fit for much after trying to cram so much into my day. I need to pace myself better and realize there is always tomorrow.

Wow, did you get that all done? I managed to only do two loads of laundry, clean the kitchen, and touch up cleaning on the floors.

Oh, you make housework sound like fun. I'm just not quite there yet myself!
