I plan to spend some time outdoors this morning, on our Estate. I love to call our property by a fancy name because it makes life more fun. The fact is, our house is very old and in need of repair. But it is quaint and lovely and mine. (smiles)
I want to walk the grounds and enjoy the last of the summer days before autumn's cool wind approaches. Then I will delight in watching the falling leaves and the splendor of the new season before all the snow begins to fall. That is when I will be indoors, near the hearth, for many months!
I want a little bit of tea and a chocolate scone. I want to pick flowers and watch the children play and laugh.
I want to clean my house and have a pleasant day of homemaking. I will put on my apron, listen to some classical music and enjoy the morning!
