The Evening Housework
The day is almost over. It is time to begin making supper. I will make beef stew in just a little while. I will also wash all the dishes, in my pretty, old kitchen.
I have a small lamp near my sage green canisters. That dim light sets a mood that makes me want to stay and work. There are a few chores I must do in the evening:
1. Clean the kitchen.
2. Tidy the living room.
3. Sweep floors.
4. Finish up the laundry.
5. Make iced tea for the night (for my teenagers).
I expect this to be all finished by 9 p.m. tonight. Then I can rest and enjoy a good book with some hot tea.
I hope you have a lovely evening!
Blessings

Hello Dear Mrs. White. I am a new reader. I am sure you hear this all the time, but you are such an encourager! Thank you for writing.

You are so disciplined! I am a new reader through Reshaping It all! Sounds like you are already working out the book!
I just love how you talk to happily about cleaning and tidying up. I appreciate how you are positive about your chores, it helps me to remember to be pleasant as I'm cleaning my own house.
Hi, I'm a new reader to your blog. This made me feel guilty, I have every thing done by 7:30 and then I sit down and put my feet up. No late night house from me !
